Sadness and venting
My mother called me this evening- my brother's mother-in-law died quite suddenly last night. My brother's wife, whom we adore, is pregnant, and is due December 4th.
I'm of mixed feelings on this. On the one hand, I'm quite sad for Sister-in-law. On the other hand, her family doesn't treat her very well, anyway, and her mother said nasty things to her as a matter of course, so part of me feels kind of like, "Meh."
I'm guessing at this point that the wake will be Friday and the funeral Saturday. My mother-in-law already said she could take Frank for the day Friday if need be. Brother, Brother's Wife, and Brother's MIL all live down the Shore, and my MIL lives in that area, too, so there's no reason for her to drive up here- I'd just drop Frank at her house on the way.
Sunday afternoon, we went to Darrel's sister's house for Niece #1's birthday party. Darrel's uncle seriously pissed me off. Since Frank has food allergies, I made sure everyone in both families knows it,... (more)

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim..
Bercampur-campur. Itulah rasa aku sekarang. Mula-mula trip je dah jadi campur-campur. Macam nasi kandar lineclear tu. Kuah dia bercampur-campur walaupun lauk dia aku amik ayam goreng je. Dan pelanggan dia pon bercampur-campur, ada yang berdiri ,ada yang naik motor, dan ada juga si 'itu' yg turut beratur. Kenapa bercampur-campur?

Maklumat program tak dapat. Nama program pon aku tak de. Padahal esok aku jadi mc. Bodo lah. Nak suruh aku buat keje last minit itu bukan program aku. PROGRAM ENGKAU!!

چند روز پس از «پایان» درگیریهای نظامی در گرجستان، ابعاد سیاسی و دیپلماتیک آن در خطوط اتخاذ شده از جانب دولتهای غرب و روسیه علنی میشود. غرب به صراحت سخن از «عقبنشینی» به میان آورده، و روسیه عنوان میکند که این «عقبنشینی» اگر در قرارداد ترک مخاصمه گنجانده شده، «تاریخ» ندارد؛ به عبارت دیگر، هر زمان که روسیه صلاح بداند عقب خواهد نشست! معنا و مفهوم این برخوردها کاملاً روشن است. غرب سعی دارد به مواضع از دست رفتة خود بازگردد، مواضعی که به دلیل تهاجم گرجستان به اوستیای جنوبی فروپاشیده؛ روسیه نیز به نوبة خود میخواهد از فرصت پیشآمده استفاده کرده، قفقاز و مناطق شرقی اتحادجماهیر سابق را از محافل وابسته به سازمان سیا و نوچههای پنتاگون پاکسازی کند. و در فهرست این «نوچهها»، سردمداران محافل حکومتی در گرجستان و اوکرائین...
